We've just finished building our strawberry tower, an obelisk to grow 90 strawberry plants in a couple of square feet of space. We're beaming from the rave reviews of friends who find our project attractive and functional. The Gertley's do a superb job of presenting their unique projects with gorgeous pictures in attractive settings. I have a whole list of projects I intend to create--and I know that each one will be classy and distinctive. This is a book for people who like to build garden projects that they know they won't see any where else around the neighborhood.

This was a gift for my daughter. She LOVES it !

The book is well written, easy to read and provides a number of projects geared for the garden that are fairly well illustrated and understandable. A lot of the projects were well beyond the novice and could be used for professional gardeners.

Great book, lots of interesting projects for the gardener/woodworker. Well written and complete in instructions.

Really nice-looking projects with detailed instructions. I fell in love with their trellis pictures, and next spring I will be building the berry trellis, grape trellis, and a trellis for espalier apple trees. It does require access to power tools.

GREAT book. Use it for building a 12 by 26 foot deck. This book really did assist us and we read it many times. This book combined with youtube assisted with the deck and it came out great and extremely sturdy. Up next we will be using the book for the railing.
