I read the book entirely the day I got it, thinking it would answer the question "Where was he born?" but it didn't. I liked the completeness of the book in detailing Obama's life, but didn't like all the corruption it brought forth. Seems honesty has gone right out the window. The credits in the back of the book showing where all the information came from was over 100 pages (quite the details) so the author did some great research before he wrote the book. I did enjoy the book, however, as it showed me how history is made. People will look back at this time in history, and wonder, "how could we elect a person we really didn't know anything about" maybe time will give us the answers we crave.

This reviews America’s greatest mistake. The GOP Leadership should have had the strength to challenge Obama’s qualifications.The biggest question that he was NOT BORN IN AMERICA should have been settled BEFORE 2008! The GOP HAD NO NERVES FOR THE FIGHT. THE BIGGEST MISTAKE BY THE GOP AND AMERICA!

Tons of research and documentation and more important questions Americans deserved answers to but never got. I just read this recently and much of it I knew from other sources at the time Obamanation was being elected. I was just intrigued at Jerome Corsi's take on it all. I wasn't disappointed. Obamunism should never have been President of the United States.

I liked the fact there was a great deal of information in the book that I was not aware of before.

Yet another conspiracy tome from the notorious wingnut Corsi. He has made a living hopping from one lunatic briar patch to another (JFK assassination conspiracy/ John Kerry phony war record / deep state / see a pattern here?). Falls in line with classical conspiracy claptrap. No evidence is ever enough.The goalposts keep getting moved. Any documentation provided is immediately discounted as insufficient and is clear evidence of a deep dark conspiracy by "them". Can't wait for his next book on Pizzagate. Enjoy.

It all comes down to what dark secrets and force was behind his election. The big question is why are all of his records sealed from the public.

Got this for a friend who bought a lake house that came with a fairly substantial inboard boat. His only other boat handling experience had been a small fishing boat that actually belonged to a friend and that was 40+ years ago. I could tell from his questions that he really was a bit lost and I could only give him so much help as we live 800 miles away. As an experienced boater I looked at the book and thought all things considered it was better than phone calls, text, and iPhone pictures. A good starting book for the semi-clueless.

I found many worthwhile chapters and pro tips in this volume. It does a great job in letting you know how to handle and maintain a power boat. It s written in an easy to read style so that a non-mechanic like myself can never the less understand what needs to be done, even though I will choose to have it done by a certified mechanic. It also alerts you to many safety issues so you understand how unforgiving going out on the water can be.I would recommend it to any one before they buy a boat so they can grasp what are the responsibilities of being the captain of even a small vessel .

Thinking about the purchase of a used/per owned trawler as a full time live aboard in the next two to three years. This is a nicely written book and the conversion to Kindle includes several useful diagrams. (They even kept the critical cartoons at the front of each chapter.)I learned a few things, and I appreciate that, but this book is quite oriented towards smaller power boats. Sailing is not covered, and little is said about larger, non-trailered boats. (Of course that would be Yaching for Dummies, a wonderful title with a wide readership.)So quite thing for the absolute beginner or someone who is just in the daydreaming stage. A little basic for those who have had a boat for a year or two.

This book contains a lot of beginner information but also some more detailed information that you can refer back to whenever you need it . I am pleased with the depth of the information covered.

Like the Ridiculous Race it inspires wanderlust, envy and amusement. And his quick and engaging interaction with readers is surprising, engaging and disarming. And now I'm running out of adjectives, so I'll say this: I bought two copies -- the least you could do is buy one. I bet you'll be as hopeful as I am of future adventures with the A Team, or with Steve if the A Team isn't available. It's past time for Steve Hely to be recognized as the Famous Novelist he Became, and I hope the next book comes quicker! The people stories are even more interesting than the locations visited.The book is an eye opening tour of our southern neighbors loaded with personal and pithy comments embedded in dry but humorous observations. Mr. Hely is a modern day Mark Twain.

There is a Venn diagram somewhere of three spheres of writing: travel, humor, and memoir, and this book lands firmly in the center. You know, in the spot in the middle that when you draw it yourself, you concentrate on to make sure it looks right, but then you look at the wedge where only two circles overlap and you're like "damn, I kinda screwed that one up" but you move on with your life because honestly, if you're gonna get on yourself about how you draw venn diagrams, you're not going to be able to get through the day.At its core, this book is funny. It's a travel book, and it will lead you to daydream about traveling the world. But it definitely spends more time discussing the people you meet while traveling the world, rather than, you know, the actual world. The world seems secondary when you're on a boat full of Australian partiers who realize, with a bit of horror, that there are a few more days left on their boat ride, and the entire boat is out of drugs.I enjoyed this book quite a bit and wish for more books in this genre.

This book is a very entertaining tale of the author's trip through Mexico, Central and South America, but beyond that, is just a delicious taste of the rich history of Latin America with a huge list of references to follow up with. For better or worse Steve just dictated my reading list for the next year. Thanks? This was the perfect book to read after a very long stressful summer. Steve takes you on his trip with the ease of simply telling you what his impressions are of visiting a place or meeting people for the first time. That is traveling and the essence of adventure. I was interested in Steves first impressions were of places I had visited when I was 18, back in 1970. I can say with all senserity that his accounts are accurate. I agree with him about making choices to see or not see various places... That is part of the journey. I will tell friends to read his book, but only the adventurous friends who will appreciate the journey.

Fantastically written, informative, and wildly funny. You will learn history, random facts, and get a great laugh along the way. I LOVED this book, highly recommended.

Really enjoyed this travel adventure read. The author provides excellent historical background to supplement his anecdotes. Through his excursions to both tourist destinations and the "off the beaten path" experiences, he hints that perhaps people and interactions with them are the best part of life (and that is where this book shines). If you like travel reads, buy this book - if for nothing more than the exhaustive list of other travel books he eludes to.

A great and easy read! Steve Hely balances giving some facts and taking the reader on his journey through South Anerica. The chapters are like short short stories so you can pick up the book without fear of having to back track to remind you where you left off. It's hilarious, fun and makes you want to be Steve's travel bud on his next adventure.

This is a great set! I love Tomine's work because it's not always so aparantly autobiographical as with a lot of other GN's and alternative comics. Segments in 32 stories are short and sweet and at times hilarious. You can see the progression in his work from the first mini comic to the last (quality change of paper, color change, length of work and quality of images) It's interesting to see the development. Im just sad that I had to catch these extremely late, rather than get them one mini comic, anxiously waiting for the next! If you appriciate Tomine's work, you have to have this!

Adrian Tomine is a genius. His stories and art are more realistic than life itself. It's astonishing.I believe this specific collection was made especially for fans and admirers of Tomine's work. It's a precious opportunity to verify how a brilliant career begins. It's the origin of all his work. The first little book shows a young but serious and committed art work. The shocking part comes when you realize the gigantic evolution he accomplished in the sequential little books.Maybe this review is not as accurate as it should be, because I'm a serious admirer of his drawing AND writing. Maybe that'll influence my view in a too positive way. His work is the closest to perfection I've seen in comics, and I'll buy every single book that contains his material.

Adrian Tomine's work is as good as it was when he started. Some argue his earlier work is better. I say the people that say his earlier work are better can't read. All his work is equally honest and worth checking out! ENJOY all Adrians work! Look for Optic Nerve or anything by Adrian Tomine.
